Sorry I’m ignorant to a lot of the nuances in baseball. But Seager is our best hitter in many ways for months now. Is there a reason he doesn’t swap with Semien?
EDIT: The main thing I’m curious about, what makes Semien the better option to lead off over Seager?
That’s the basic theory, yeah. I’m sure more goes into than just that but it can’t hurt to grab your best hitter another 10-12 plate appearances over the course of the season.
Lol not sure why you’re so mad. Your philosophy is just an old school way of approaching the game… adapt or die. 😂

Old school way of thinking.
Just off the top of my head, Ohtani, Freeman, Acuna, Altuve, J-Rod, Bo Bichette, & Bobby Witt Jr are all the best hitters on their respective teams. Every one of them hits 1 or 2
