I have a “CLEAN BACKGROUND” & FBI failed my approval … any advice on what to do?

I am going to start off my saying I am a ex convicted felon. My felony involved in some big cases but was promised & was signed off by the judge of California. He promised me 8 years ago to fix my life as promised and just 2 sentences and probation plus rehab I am a rehabilitated man with no convictions under my name.

I am ready to get my first legal weapon, and I went to the store to be rejected and FBI is asking for 10 - finger print. Will this be enough? Will I get in trouble for trying to buy with what they say is a felony on record that was expunged…. I just want my life back
