I think most fans, O'Brien supporters or not, agree that we need to hire an offensive coordinator. It's unlikely that we'll bring in anyone this year leaving Sean Ryan as the most likely guy to fill the position IF, and only IF, BoB relinquishes playcalling duties this season. However, I wouldn't be opposed to us bringing in a former offensive-minded head coach as our OC next season primarily bc of their NFL experience... a guy like Jim Caldwell comes to mind. I could also see us bringing in a top college OC and let Sean Ryan walk if he gets an OC position elsewhere. My top college OC targets are:

MIKE LOCKSLEY - Alabama (Current Salary = $1.2m/yr.)

KEVIN WILSON - Ohio State (Current Salary = $800k/yr.)

CHAD MORRIS - Clemson ---> Arkansas (Clemson Salary = $1.3M/yr.)

TROY WALTERS - Nebraska (Current Salary = $700k/yr.)

KEVIN JOHNS - Texas Tech (Current Salary = N/A, Can't be too much though since Kingsnbury only makes about $3.5M/yr.)

I really think Deshaun could benefit from a system like the one Locksley runs at Bama. What do you guys think?
