I know many of you all wont like this but It seems like the rumors of a rift between Ob and the FO may be true. If so, why not try to trade him instead of firing him? The Browns hold our top 2 draft picks and if we could get those back it would help sure up some holes on the team (oline, corner, safety, etc). I doubt Hue Jackson will still be with the Browns after this season and John Dorsey could opt to bring in his own coach. With the Cardinals rumor out there It's likely that other teams will also throw their hat in the race for Ob which would drive up the compensation price. Ultimately Cleveland would be the most enticing place due to them having the 1st pick of the draft which would allow Ob to hand pick his new QB. I'd hate for him to go to another AFC team so I'd kick the tires on the Giants or Bucs and see what we could get out of them. If this goes down, who would be a good replacement for Ob? I'd shoot for Vrabel as HC with Kevin Sumlin at OC and Vance Joseph or RAC as DC and ANYONE else as Special Teams coach. If not, we'll see what Ob can do next year. Merry Christmas everyone
