Hi All!
I just found this place and thought I would say hello. I am a very fortunate ToF patient. I had 2 surgeries at 2 1/2 and none since (39). I have never felt like I had problems, but I sure did use my condition to have an "excuse" not to play football with my older brother.
I never even thought about my ToF until I was on a trip in 2015 and met a child cardiologist at the Cleveland Clinic in the United Arab Emirates. He asked me questions about being so tall (6'3") and having no other visible issues. I never knew that I should/could have. I decided I should probably check in with a cardiologist since I hadn't seen one in...20 years. I have been doing yearly checkups and all is well so far.
I know my story is a positive one but isn't the same as everyone else's story. I just want to say, that I am here and look forward to getting to know all of you.
I would love to get to know a little more about you.
