So Iāve (f21) have only had my initial heart operation at 11 months old and havenāt yet needed a pulmonary valve replacement. I wouldnāt want to even think about having children until Iāve had my valve replacement whenever that is as I donāt want to potentially put my heart under unnecessary pressure or have small children and have fatal complications during the surgery as unlikely as that is. I am perfectly happy with adopting children if that decision leads me to being too old to have children naturally but Iāve experienced a lot of pressure from both male and female cardiologists to still not rule out pregnancy before valve replacement as Iām āin stable conditionā to manage it. Just wondering if Iām the only one whoās had this feedback before
