sudden redness/itchiness for past injection sites?

Post Body

I'm currently on my third week of starting T. I'm currently doing weekly subq shots, .5ml at 100mg/ml of Testosterone Cypionate. My last injection was June 21st. I've been following proper injection procedures from my nurse's instructions, and I massage the injection site gently with an alcohol wipe afterwards. I switch sides for injections each week, on my stomach. I don't put a band aid on after, since I was told by the nurse when I was being taught how that it wasn't necessary.

After my most recently injection, I felt shaky a few hours afterwards but it cleared up after 2 hours.

Last night, my past injection sites were red, and slightly itchy. Not hard to the touch, though there was some light red dotting like a very early bruise.

I have an appointment scheduled 3 weeks away for bloodwork/follow up, the symptoms at the moment are a slight annoyance but bearable, should I wait until my follow up to bring it up if it doesn't get worse? Or is it likely to get worse? Does it go away? I've seen conflicting reports online.

Are there other injection alternatives if cypionate doesn't work for me? I'd really rather do injections than gel, as I suck at remembering daily application compared to once a week.
