Insurance woes- BCBS
Post Body

After numerous low early AM blood tests, BCBS keeps denying coverage of my TRT script from the urologist saying it’s not medically necessary. The urologist is appealing the decision.

Any of you guys go through this mess?

I’ve taken the prescribed 2 pumps of my 1.62% gel for 4 days. Should I discontinue and drop my levels again and retest again? I know shots would be better, and I’m planning on talking to my Dr. about changing at my 3 month follow up…but this is how he starts all of his patients.

Sad thing is after only 4 days I’m feeling much better than I did before.

Out of pocket with Good RX is still cheaper for now than the online clinics that I’ve found…but no extra goodies like the online clinics. Don’t need HCG since had a vasectomy.
