I'm 27 years old and over the past 7 months my test has dropped from 760 to 400. The labs I ran 7 months ago came back at 760, did more labs 3 months ago the number was 560, and just got my labs back from last week and the total test is 400.
First off, I've been feeling like total shit over the past few months. Extremely low libido, problems ejaculating, feelings of lethargy, crazy brain fog, never sleep well, etc. I'm an active dude who's in the gym at least 3 times a week (more if my work schedule isn't totally fucked), I eat pretty decently (lots of home-cooked meals), all that good stuff. I do have a history of severe opiate abuse though. I've been clean for 3 years now, but my doctor says it's not uncommon to have this issue he calls "opiate induced hypogonadism." He recommended that I do an hCG boost with clomid. He says that this will help boost my test to higher levels and then I can naturally maintain those levels with diet and exercise.
I don't know enough about this, but I have 5000iu of hcg and clomid and want to try something to feel better. I've read that hCG and Clomid together can be stupid as fuck with side effects that can leave you in a worse position. I can't find a straight answer and I don't know what to do. My labs are as follows
Lipid Panel: Cholesterol, Total 201; Triglycerides 75; HDL Cholesterol 58; VLDL Cholesterol Cal 14; LDL Chol Calc (NIH) 129
Testosterone, Serum 400; Testosterone Free 12.0
Estradiol 20.4
Prolactin 12.0
Prostate Specific Ag, Serum 0.7
TSH 2.150
Vitamin D 25.5
Cortisol 11.4
So please feel free to share some personal experience with this method of treatment or what someone with my labs should do to not fuck themselves up in the future. I'm about to be a dad, and I just want to be the best version of myself for my child and my girlfriend. Thanks in advance.
EDIT: I seriously have done a ton of research and reading on this particular subject and it's been so hard to find a straight answer. I've heard that it's hard for some people to balance Estradiol on Clomid, and that hCG can permanently stop LH production, shit like that.
