I'm 48 and have been on T for about 10 years now. I've been pinning 80mg 2 x week, and this dose has worked very well for me. But in the past year, I lost a lot of weight, improved my sleep, improved my blood pressure, and have just generally been a lot healthier. So, I'm wondering if I should lower my dose...
But, does the fact that I'm healthier, and might theoretically have more endogenous testosterone if I came of TRT, even matter since all my T is exogenous now?
Would there be any point in trying to reduce my dose a bit? I'd still want to do it twice a week, so it would be just as much effort. Would there be health benefits? I don't have any negative side effects now except testicular atrophy... Would lowering my dose plump up the family jewels even a little bit? That's the only thing that really bugs me about being on T, and I wouldn't mind even a slight boost there.
