TRT and hypothyroidism
Post Body

Hi all, as the subject says I’m looking in to TRT however I am treated for hypothyroidism (the one that makes you fat) and I’ve been using Levothyroxin since childhood, am about to be 30. My current dosage for levothyroxin is 125 mg every morning. Bloodwork is showing that T levels are normal - 447 ng/dl, however I still feel tired, have mood changes and all the other symptoms that men with lower T have. Is there anyone with a same diagnose as me that went on TRT ? I’m looking in to slightly elevating my T to feel better and burn fat. In order to lose weight I have to torture myself with diets and so many workouts that my body can not handle, it’s just not sustainable. When I adjust my diet to lose weight slowly, nothing isn’t happening. I have an appt with my endocrinologist this month but she’s a woman and I don’t think she understands my needs as a man, she will want to increase my thyroid pill dosage but not T.. I’ve been looking also in to companies such as trtnation which looks promising. Am 30, 250-260 lbs, BMI 25-30%, active lifestyle. thanks to all for advices.
