HCG monotherapy to lower SHBG?

Hello. I have posted previously regarding my high SHBG. A clinic in the UK has said they would be happy to start me on a course of HCG monotherapy which will help to lower my SHBG. could anyone confirm that this may help & what exactly is HCG? Is this different from TRT? Will HCG give other benefits too that TRT does such as muscle mass etc?
