I'm all about calculating cost and I've just started my research into solar. Some questions, whats the lifespan of solar pannels? My current assesment would be for at 16kW system and I'm thinking about about getting powerwalls instead of using a home generator. Which leads the total to 54k after the Tax credit. Over the corse of a 10 year loan and getting tax benifits while "not" paying for electicity anymore since I should be feeding back into the grid. Does the lifespan of the pannels and powerwalls make finacial sense? I'm sure more question will follow this, I like open disscuession hit me with your best shot. I want to hear all the stories from owners and if they would recommend this or not. etc. Let the games begin.
