Virtual power plant - PG&E

Just had install a few days ago and am currently waiting for inspections and PTO but was given the option to enroll in virtual power plant.
For those currently enrolled, what’s your experience with this? It seems like a cool program, but is there a downside or does anyone wish they hadn’t enrolled?
