I have a nema 14-50 plug at home. My mobile charger is essentially plugged in this most of the time.
I occasionally however have a side gig job that is 115 miles each way of highway driving - they have a nema 14-50 switch as well. I do 2-3 shifts there a month and take my mobile charger with me to charge at work there.
So far Iโm unhooking my mobile charger from my home receptacle whenever Iโm working at my side gig, so 2-3 times a month. Even though itโs a high quality hubbell receptacle, Iโm concerned it will go become a fire hazard over time.
So should i just suck it up and pay $250 and buy a separate mobile charger from tesla?
