I made the mistake of applying updates after the NTSB debacle regarding full self driving and autopilot and ever since autopilot has been absolutely useless. I will get notifications to jiggle the steering wheel and I comply. I was just on a 30 mile drive on the freeway and suddenly autopilot disengaged. It wasn't doing the thing that it typically does where it will give me a visual warning and then move to an audible warning as it blinks faster and faster. And then if I still don't comply then it disengages. It full on just disengaged for no reason and of course I got the message after that stating I needed to pay attention and that I would be penalized if it happens again.
The software is not functioning as I understand it for these reasons. It makes the driving experience more frustrating and it makes autopilot pretty much useless and then when these seemingly apparent bugs in the system happen I get penalized. Am I the only one experiencing this? It's like they move the goal post on what we need to do to comply. I would suggest any of you having this issue use the bug report feature (hold down the voice key on the scroll wheel and just say bug report and complain about your issue)
