1up bike rack experience on MY
Post Body

Hey there,

Not sure if this will be hit or miss but figured I’d ask the peanut gallery. Just ordered a MYP and was wondering if any fellow MTBers/Cyclists could opine on which 1up rack would be best.

I’m looking for ease of installation thoughts, not asking if they fit or not (I used Google 🫡)..

Options are the Super Duty Single or the Equip’d single.

The design of the Equip’d model seems like it’d be easier to put on and take off since it doesn’t have as wide of base. Specifically referring to the ease of hitch lock access.

Anyone with the heavy or super duty model rack have issues of accessing the hitch lock pin around the wider base? I’d rather get the super duty since it’s slightly cheaper but it look like in pictures/videos that there’s not much space to reach around it to the lock pin on the MY recessed hitch.

Welp, thanks for reading! Fingers crossed and appreciate your time.

TLDR; is it significantly easier to install and remove the 1up Equip’d Rack than the Super Duty on the MY?
