The oddest and scariest thing just happened to me and I wanted to ask folks if there was anything about this that's common or a known issue.
I was singing with a top 40 band at a bar in a city near mine and spent the entire evening no more than 100 feet from my MYLR. At the end of the night, I returned to it and all the windows were cracked open, as well as the frunk and trunk. I checked all my cargo and nothing is missing. The two options that occurred to me:
The car didn't auto-lock, and someone decided to be a smartass and climb in to mess with things. This seems unlikely, though, because it auto-locked when I was only 15 feet away just now.
I was hacked somehow. I've heard stories of people getting in each other's cars and other weird stuff with the bluetooth, so this doesn't seem too far fetched to me. I also live in a big tech hub, so there are lots of bored, smart, tech savvy people in my area.
Anyone heard of anything like this happening and have any ideas for an explanation? I hate the idea that my car may not be very secure, but I have to accept that there are a lot of dumb build issues with these things, as great as they are otherwise.
