Automatic Wipers

I’ve had rain sensing wipers on my last 3 ICE cars and they’ve worked almost flawlessly. Why is Tesla still struggling with this feature. Driving home on a rainy day and the wipers continuously failed to detect the rain despite it being raining fairly heavy. I love my car but this is one feature they need to address
