Supercharger etiquette?

What’s supercharger etiquette when all stations are full and you have to queue to wait? When I first got my vehicle I learned through Reddit to put on flashers and park to notify people that you’re waiting but I’m curious to see if this is something everyone knows or just people during that time period? This is in Tallahassee, FL btw.
