Hello everyone so my and my friend are in this medium terraria world on ps4 as beginners, and we just made it into hardcore mode, i am more of a mage/ summoner class and he is more of a range/ melee class I’ve been googling on how to advance and it all pretty confusing as many people have said different way on doing it I’ve heard that we should have fished for crates brefore getting into hard mode to get a lot of good gear and if we break alters to get the ores we need it will spread corruption so I was wondering is it too late to get the crates now or if there is a way to stop the corruption and if not how many alters should we break and I would also like help on how to advance in the game with our weapons and armor according to our classes and We also tried to get the leaf wings but it’s 1 platinum coin and we have no idea on how to get platinum coins whatsoever

We both have, molten armor, nights edge, molten Pickaxe, molten hamaxe and the pwnhammer, rocket boots, cloud in a bottle, and a grapple and flurry boots and the mini shark with the imp staff

I have the demon scythe and the book of skulls the space gun, diamond staff

Édit: we haven’t done anything at all so we’re technically starting fresh in Hardmode if that helps
