The Old Shillelagh is a Terraria server dedicated to keeping it vanilla. We don't force you into playing Hardcore mode, nor do we disable some fundamental parts of the game (UPDATE: Explosives are disabled. Blame the people who turned Spawn into the Grand Canyon.) The server is hosted on a very powerful machine, although it is not dedicated to just Terraria.

Here are a few key points:

           Large map.
           Generated in 1.0.6
           Most of the checks in place that would more often than not kick innocent players have been disabled.
           I do plan to reset the map every 2 weeks but only when there is very little good land for building. I will notify all the players, and post the old maps for download in this thread.
           The admin team is responsible, and won't ruin the experience of the game with solid gold castles or anything of the sort.
           We have a Whitelist now due to the amount of griefing that has been done on the server.
           As far as new characters go, I would prefer if people joined without end game items, but it's not necessary at all. :D Feel free to bring whatever you want!
           We have Spawn Protection 50 blocks out from Spawn.

It will be up 24/7, save for any downtime from unforeseeable circumstances.

The IP is 79.143.177.84. Port is 7777. Since there is now a whitelist you are now going to have to put your ip in the comment if you would like to join. The reason is because with the new Tshock it doesnt work with just the player name. If you are interested in joining the server then just post your IGN and ip in the comments (if your not comfortable with throwing your ip into the world then you can pm me your ip and i will whitelist you that way.) and we will whitelist you as soon as possible.
