[Noob question] How much space needs there to be between two biomes so as they do not affect each other at all? (i.e., no overriding nor overlapping).

Hi!

New player on very first playthrough here; sorry if the question has already been answered/is considered common knowledge; I wasn't able to find a clear, up to date answer.

Since I like the idea of making artificial terraria in Terraria (lel), I was wondering how; far do I need to space the biomes so that they are totally isolated from each other?

Also (kinda the same question), I know how to qualify a place for a particular biome, but when am I considered to be "in" that biome? (ergo, how far does a biome "reach"?)

Is it the number of blocks of said biome present on screen? If yes, then does that mean it is affected by resolution?

Last thing; what is the optimal length of a biome, for mob farming purposes?

Again, sorry for the beginner-level questions.
