So I have used Typescript before to manage and provision AWS services. This was a couple years ago so I don't remember exactly, but I believe I then used the AWS CLI to deploy these changes.
I've read articles recently that discuss using Typescript to write Terraform. My questions are
1) Is Terraform better for managing/provisioning/deploying AWS services? Bc Terraform is infrastructure as code, whereas Typescript is JavaScript but with additional features?
2) What does it mean to use Typescript to write Terraform? This seems like a very foreign concept to me, as foreign as if someone was to say something like 'use Python to write C'.
Thanks.
