I have a playthrough as The Initiative. I declared war, to stop them from taking to many countries. I put a large dent in them and needed to make peace to recover. I made peace, they accepted. War instantly restarted a few hours in game later without the declaration message. I have spammed peace with 6 councilors, I am able to get them to accept peace 3 times in the same turn and flipping back to war. The other attempts I am already at peace, but it instantly goes back to war each time.
I feel my game is lost, as there is no way I can stop it. When I first made peace, I moved all my armies and they are now out of range, I did not realize the bug until it was to late and they are taking Paris of the EU / Russia / Turkey mega-nation.
Is this really a bug or a mechanic I am not understanding? Is there anyway to stop the war?
It says 100% for peace, and they accept. Consequently it brings my cohesion from 4.5 - 10 from all the restarts of the war in the same turn.
Any advice?
