Technology progression speed seems to fast?
Post Body

I know there is no chance of this changing now but does anyone else think the tech up speed seems absurdly fast? Some of the projects have been worked on for 40 years and suddenly in the game you can solve them in just a few years. I would of preferred if we had more run up time for the tech research and the politics at the start rather than the world transforming in just a few years. It also makes sense in that any early system exploration could take years in transit, so if the alien presence was smaller at the start it would give more reaction time while the time span of the game would more adhere to reality.
