One day last fall I was visited and nearly taken out by a knarly looking spider. I was asleep when it came creeping and my wife woke me up to make me aware of the dastardly plot that the arachnid was up to. I awoke just in time to thwart the eight legged buggers plan of setting up shop in my ear canal.

Soon after, I wrote on Reddit of my near death experience and the galant manner in which I dispatched of Mr.Eighteyes. I found many negative responses from the pro-spider sector of Reddit. My subsequent search for an anti-spider sub on Reddit turned up nothing but cobwebs. Thus r/DeathToSpiders was born of my utter disdain for the creepy crawly spiders that always seem to be where we need to be, when we need to be there. The sub has been a pretty dismal failure so far so I am making this offer.
