Alternative Timeline

I would like to think, as many of you do that T3, Salvation and Genisys are alternative timelines of how things end up from different end results from skynet trying repeatedly to terminate John, Sarah or even Kyle. Remember going to the past can alter the future. Making those films canon in the terminator world, but not to the real events of T1 and T2.
