New players (group of 5)

A few questions everyone. My friends and I were looking into 5 players games and this popped up as something to try. 2 of us are experienced MMOers and the other 3 are totally new.

Was sad to find out that we cannot level as a 5 man group doing dungeons. So a few questions:

How long does it take to get to the 5 man dungeons (play time).

If 3 of us power though to the right level, can we power level the lower level characters?

We are enjoying the game currently and it's in our Wednesday night Guy "Book" Club. But if we cant play as a group, we may wander off to something different.
