I'll be passing through your state in mid-September, going west to east from Memphis to the Great Smoky Mountains. I've already enjoyed Nashville so I don't plan to check that out again, but I'd love to explore your southern backyard while I'm there. If you know a yummy roadside restaurant, weird roadside attraction, blooming gardens, favorite festival, cool market, interesting museum, beautiful dispersed/primitive camp area, or other random thing I shouldn't leave your state without experiencing, please share!
I enjoy connecting with people and discovering new places. Of particular interest to me are: pottery/ceramics studios, folk art, fine arts, or craftsmanship, historical stuff, weird passion projects, and beautiful, safe spots to car camp in solitude.
Thanks!
