Payette Paste on furled line?

Hey all,
I see Tenkara Rod Co. recommending Payette Paste on all of their videos and claiming it’ll help furled line float all day long. Does it work as good as they say?
I want to throw dries this summer and try the furled line that came with my rod. Anybody use this stuff? Thanks!
