Hi all,

I recently just got a new Tenkara rod

I wanted to get out this afternoon and test it out. It’s a Tenkara Rod Co. Teton Zoom 10.5-12’. I wanted to try and throw some midges but wasn’t sure if the set up would be the same as a traditional rig. Two flies except with no split shot? And does it go

level/furled line to tippet to fly #1 then more tippet and then fly #2? Just curious how a lot of you do it. I don’t believe I would need leader like a traditional western fly rod do I? Thanks all.
