Not sure how to ask my question so I’ll explain, my girlfriend just got she’s place and her landlord told her that , a this is in the lease agreement also, and this is word for word
- No pets or animals are allowed to be kept in the home, more than 7days, without prior written consent of the Landlord. Pots will bo allowed in this residence, in the future, with an additional $1000 security deposit paid to Landlord, prior to the acquisition of said pet.
She wasn’t even gonna try an bring our cat at all an our psychiatrist wrote her a letter to give to her landlord and her landlord says she’s still had to pay the deposit fee, is this legal?. Can he deny her our cat? …. An yes our cat does bring my ole lady about of comfort when she has an emotionally unstable episode, especially when she’s gets into a really down mood, sometimes our kitty is the only thing that can change her mood, so it’s not like she’s trying scam him outta money an get our cat into the place. She has a text where he says she is not allowed to have him unless she pays the deposit.
An also, my fault forgot to mention I had a second question…. This is word for word out of lease as well
- No guests of the Tenants may occupy the Property for longer than one week, other than immediate family members, without the prior written consent of the Landlord.
So I do stay here for a couple days an then I leave an I leave for a whole 24 hours, we make sure of it, now he’s saying he’s more concerned about the boyfriend she has staying with her and I’d it continues he needs my information on file, so I guess is this also legal for him to do?.
An my fault I really didn’t think of this one till jus now A there isn’t anything in the lease agreement, on how she is to pay the rent, I’m meaning in what form or way, he say the only way she can pay rent is through cash app well with the amount her rent is it’s really hard to accept money through cash app an deposit money on to her card because if cash apps limitations an he said he does not accept cash or money order or check, I’m jus really confused on what he is an isn’t a loud to do after the lease has done been signed an if we are breaking any part of her lease agreement?. Anyone who has any information at all, I thank you in advance an your time and effort in helping is much appreciated and if my question violates any rules I’m sorry in advance, I just didn’t know where else to turn to other then Reddit lol
