Hoping this is a James Gunn type situation

Back in 2018, Disney fired James Gunn from Marvel for some edgy tweets he had written back in the day. If I remember correctly, Gunn was very vocal about his progressive/ anti-Trump views and conservatives dug up his old tweets to get him cancelled.
However, Disney rehired Gunn the next year because society's attention span is very short and no one gave a shit anymore.
I'm hoping the same will happen here, JB & KG will lie low for a little while and be back in action by next year, perhaps even sooner.
