I have also been to both desire resorts, and if you had a male partner with you, since they don't allow same-sex couples, you would have a great time because again, unicorns are hard to come by. They are very different, though. Desire is slower paced and laid back and is couples only, and the service and accommodations are exquisite. Temptation is very nice but it is a party all day and most of the night with sexy pool games and the staff do everything they can to make it a sexy environment. Desire is sexy because there's naked people and you can have sex on a bed next to the hot tub. Temptation is strictly tops optional and any public fooling around will get shut down by security

It depends on the season but typically the average age is between 30 and 40. It is a little younger over spring break and a little older over the winter. I have been to the resort 16 times and although plenty of people do end up hooking up or swinging while there, you cannot go into it with that expectation. I have seen literally dozens of people come away terribly disappointed because they thought it was just a big orgy and it most certainly is not.
