There are a lot of members that have referrals they can give out that give a 20% discount. You'd need to sit through a presentation at the resort, but the savings can be pretty big. There are a TON of facebook pages dedicated to giving out referrals by Premier Members.

If you go on referral, the person referring you has to help make the reservation. You get all the member benefits and discounts BUT you have to remember that the resort is going to try their hardest to get you to buy into a membership. That is the literal reason referrals exist. Members get anywhere from 0-20 referrals a year to use and I have heard of some folks with even more.
There are folks that will give away referrals because they don't cost us members anything and if you attend the presentation we get a little money. If you buy a membership, we get a little more money.
Then there are people that sell their referrals. I don't go in for that because there are plenty of folks who just give them away but to each their own. There are people (travel agents I think) that legit pay their bills selling referrals so good on them! I've been a member for 15 years and I've never used a single referral.
Then there are folks who will sell "family member" slots on their membership known as beneficiaries. That basically makes you a member. Normally those are going to cost $$$ you because members pay upwards of 30k for their contracts and you'd be getting a piece of that action.
