To any former Premier member who's contract ended and decided not to renew , have you ever gone back to Temptations? If so do you get hassled by Premier

Our membership is only the 3 year trial one & it's about to end. My husband doesn't want to renew it but I might still want to go to Temptations each year. Will Premier mess with that ?

It is really based on the number of nights. We did a 240 night contract. We go a week a year so it will take us 25 years to use it (knowing the resort prolly wont exist by then).

The trick is we did NOTHING ELSE. No RCI or timeshare points, no Flyback, no Buyback, no yacht, only 5 referral nights a year (which I have never used a single one of), and a simple garden view room. They gave us credit for all the times we'd been there plus the value of our previous trial memberships so we got the membership package for 5.5k. Sure it isn't as fancy as the tower but at the end of the day we get the same treatment as any other member, plus the same discounts at Desire and a "fixed" nightly rate. You can really beat them down in price if you know what you want and don't want and if you aren't afraid to just walk away from the table.

Makes sense. We've been going to temptation since 2007 and have been 16 times and other than desire it is our preferred place to vacation as a couple, so a membership works great for us.

We did that exact thing. We had a 3 year trial and went back the next year. The biggest change was how we checked in and out. Obviously they hit us up to do a breakfast meeting and the tour "to tell us about new upgrades" but otherwise it was fine.

It is worth mentioning that we hated not being members. Not having our own bar, not getting the little extras. We ended up with a full membership but they gave us credit for the two 3-year trials that we had done ( we did a 3-year trial membership and then another one after it expired although I don't think they let people do that anymore)

Edit: I forgot to mention, in between the last trial ending and buying a full membership, we went on a referral and I straight up hated it. I felt like we got treated like second class citizens compared to being a full member and they kept reminding us that we were on a referral and that we needed to do the tour and do all the things and that we were not members. My wife thinks that may have just been my impression but how you feel is how you feel. We decided to buy because we weren't going to come back on a referral again
