Bike stolen

Hi! I’m sure this is not the right place but I don’t know where else’s to post this. My bike was stolen two weeks ago (it was two weeks old). The lock company wants the picture of the lock to claim the money back but them stupid heads apparently don’t understand how theft works. What can I do/ where can I go?
I’ve filed a complaint with Tempe police and also registered it online and everything.
