I don’t know what the deal is but the past few days I am having so many volume issues and input issues to the point where I can barely use this tv and it’s really ruining the experience.
For context:
I have a chromecast with google tv in hdmi 2.
I have my 5.2.1 receiver in hdmi 3.
When I first turn the tv on and choose hdmi 2, the receiver turns on constantly. Constantly.
When I choose an hdmi input it constantly returns to the Home Screen.
While watching hdmi 2, the Google tv, the receiver will turn on and off. On and off several turns until it calms down.
At random I am having that age old issue where the built in soundbar will get REALLY LOUD. The only way to remedy that is to reboot the tv.
The names of the inputs never stay what I named them. They constantly rename themselves.
Eventually these bugs calm down and I can watch my content, but it makes the first 10 minutes of the experience so so very frustrating.
I was showing this off at my holiday gathering yesterday and it was an embarrassment.
I get it’s a beta and I applaud their great customer service and will literally copy and paste this into a message to their support as soon as I post here.
Just venting my frustration. This only started happening the past few days.
