Went to the gym decently early this morning with a friend, about halfway through our workout with preworkout coursing through us we walk by the pool area which has windows all around it and we see what we think is a beach ball at the bottom of the pool. it wasnt. my friend noticed it and immediatly ran in while i followed cuz at that point i knew it was a person drowning. luckily he was in the shallow area so it wasnt to difficult to get him out. hes not breathing. my friend initiates cpr while i call 911 and get the gym owner. she takes over at this point and an ambulance is on its way. my friend had gotten the man breathing but lightly and still unconscious. we got towels and blankets and began drying him off and then he stopped breathing again, the gym owner began performing cpr for about 7 minutes with no progress and then the medics finally arrived but were slow as fuck and worked on him for maybe 40 minutes in the pool area before putting him on a stretcher and leaving in the ambulance. As of now i dont know what condition the man is in but i will update this if i find out.
