I realised recently that if group admin deletes his/her group then it literally dissappears from your Telegram client with all the data that's been published to date. This upset me heavily because my assumption was if you have the data at your eyes then it's "yours" forever. Now, it looks like Pavel thinks otherwise... As I thought the data in the channel was quite valuable for me I tried to recover it somehow. I managed to do it partially by immediately backing up teleram's "data" folder on my android client. However, cache4.db contents was somewhat outdated with latest info being 1day old. But there are lots of extensionless files on my desktop still... I got hints that those are encrypted files of something.... Therefore I still wonder if one can still recover full dataset including latest updates? Anyone got any experience with that?
