Also got Drag/Julia to Juggernaut and Bryan to Warrior after about 3-4 months of playing and practicing.. pretty stoked. Crazy how much stiffer the competition is above Green ranks. Really is a different game now and waaaay more fun.

Anyone struggling to get through Green... just block punish the spammers. Let them spam all day, jsut whiff and block punish.. Sidestepping while they run at you mashing is also good... Block punishment in training mode is super helpful. Do this and you'll get outta green in a couple days i promise. Dont tilt when you lose a couple rounds to cheesey spam, just take notice and adjust. All the 500 win green rank warriors will keep doing the same thing even after you adjust. If this doesnt work, just switch to Hwoarang :P (for real, i have a Genbu buddy whose beaten me probably 100 times, tried Hwoarang against him and i can win 50% of the time just spamming... offline im sure he'd wreck me but online his strings are just gross). And no salt, I dont hate Hwoarang. Adds flavour, he doenst win tourneys, more of an online powerhouse. And I know Hwoarang players are just as good as any other so please dont take offense.

Anyway I have a feeling it'll a LOT harder to get past Yellow than it was Green, so im looking for a community to play with, learn from, etc. More often than not now my opponents have a real understanding of the fundamentals, they move a lot, they poke they play safe and compact and get their combos..

Also the QUEUES SUCK IN THIS GAME... WTF... Why does it take 5-10 mins to find a match sometimes? im filtering 4 bars only and /- 3 ranks preferred and its just awful. This is really why i need to get more friends or join a community.
