Like in every Tekken, the subtitles are absolute nonsense. It was ok when it was just during the intros but with a big story mode like in Tekken 8 it becomes a really bad thing. Sooooo many dialogues don't make sense or change the character a lot. Victor seems like an impatient and almost mean man in the subtitles when he actually talks in a very matter of fact and calm way.
That's just one example but if you play with english subtitles, every other languages is badly translated.
The translation team really dropped the ball on this one because it really impacts how some characters are portrayed in a BIG way.

It’s more like that someone properly translates it from the original language to English and then they have dumbass editors to fuck that all up.
