I'm curious what people's opinions would be if Teen Wolf had introduced Witches into their Mythos.
I'm not talking about the all powerful Witches from Buffy or even The Vampire Diaries but more like the Witches we saw briefly in The Secret Circle. Potentially powerful? Absolutely, but they need to work at it.
I know some fans look at the Emissary's/Druids as Teen Wolf's Witches but to me they strike me more as Teen Wolf's answer to Watchers; learned humans that perhaps rely on external sources of power for their abilities (a nemeton, sacrifices, telluric currents/ley lines etc) while Witches have their own internal source of power and/or a natural connection to supernatural forces.
I just think they could have added another layer to the Teen Wolf universe.
What are peoples thoughts?
