Prefacing this with I mostly like Miranda, mostly dislike Leah, and am super meh about Corey.
In Season 6 Episode 12 when Leah wants to discuss the girls with Corey and Miranda insists on being there. Like... I totally get what Leah is saying when she says she should be able today discuss the girls and how they go forward co-parenting and getting back on a good stance with each other after her therapy alone. I understand why she was angry Miranda was there ā Miranda will always be on Coreyās side and support him which is a GOOD thing, but I truly think the twins are between their mother and father ā Corey and Leah.
I understand completely why she wouldnāt want Miranda to be in the middle of it and why she was frustrated and threw in the towel and left. If it was about Leah wanting to repair her relationship with both of them as an entity then sure... but I did think Miranda putting herself there for their personal conversation was a bit much and I honestly didnāt like it. And I didnāt like how it made me side with Leah for the first time... ever. I truly think Miranda should have sat that one out just to keep the peace, Corey has shown up until that point for a while that he can stand up to Leah by himself. Miranda could wait in the car or something, like leahās friends should have too.
I know some people think she didnāt want them to talk alone because Corey supposedly cheated on Miranda with Leah early in their marriage but if it bothered her because of that then she should love herself and get out of that marriage if sheās still hanging on to that. Iām pretty sure they didnāt have their kid together at this point yet right? Of course I know Leah was all about how sheād āhealedā and was soooo much better and Corey and Miranda both saw through it ā but thatās not the point. Corey can still have a one on one private conversation about the future of their children without Miranda there to watch, judge, and put her opinions in. Even if to just keep the peace.
To reiterate, I donāt like Leah but I do thinks he had a right to be angry about that in that moment.
