How to bleach your jeans

EDIT 1:20 was probably a little too dilute. If i was to do it again I would probably do like a 1:10 or even 1:5 ratio of bleach to water. This would make the process faster and probably not result in the metal corroding.

Materials:

Procedure:

  1. Fill your bucket with water and soak your jeans through (a pre-soak distributes the bleach more evenly)
  2. Take them out add your bleach to the water (I used a 1:20 ratio of bleach to water this turned out to be extremely dilute).
  3. Put your pre-soaked jeans into the dilute bleach solution. Mix around to ensure and even distribution.
  4. Soak until satisfied (took me like 10 hours over 2 days because of the really dilute solution)
  5. When satisfied with the colour, take out jeans and throw them in the washing machine, wash.
  6. Allow the jeans to dry.
