Ted Lasso - Teaching Men How to be Men without Patronizing Them?

Post Body
Chuck Palahniuk once said, “If you're a man, you either have ‘Fight Club’ or 'Dead Poets Society,’ and that's really it."
And now we have Ted Lasso.
I had this thought five minutes ago after finishing s02e10, so forgive me if it isn’t fully formed… But the show seems to be setting out to teach men how to be excellent boyfriends, husbands, and fathers without shedding the rougher qualities that make them men in the first place.
Are there any scenes that come to mind to back this up? Or am I reading too much into it?
