Before I start, let me say I am actually enjoying this season. It's enjoyable, and it is refreshing to see my favourite characters back on screen, and I love what they're doing with Nate.

The PR firm plot is a waste of time so far. Nothing has happened.

A character was introduced and then recently removed. Shandy is unlikable. She isn't good unlikable like Rupert or Rebecca in S1. She's annoying and I just want the scene to end when she's in it.

The PR firm plot hasn't done anything! It hasn't contributed to anything. It hasn't achieved anything. It has nothing to do with football nor the main plotline. Nothing has happened in the first 5 episodes for it. As a Star Wars fan, it reminds me of the middle 4 episodes of the clone wars season 7. (Other Clone Wars fans will know what I mean). These episodes collected a lot of criticism for nothing happening. Nothing interesting occurs. Similar to the PR plot, no advancement has been made.

My Main criticism of the PR firm is that it eats up time for other character development. 2 characters have had great development this season: Rebecca and Nate. But do you remember in season 1 and mainly season 2? We had constant character development for not only Rebecca and Nate, but also Ted, Jamie, Roy, Sam, and a sprinkle of development for Danny and Isaac. Hell, we even had a Scorsese's 'After Hours' themed episode devoted to Beard's character! (One of my favourite episodes in the entire show).

But this season, we have not had this, no development for Beard, let alone any of the players! This PR firm plot is using the time that used to be devoted to character development, and because of it, the characters fall behind.

It also feels like an excuse to keep Keeley in the show, now she's not at Richmond they needed to keep her relevant, which is good, she's a great character, but this is the wrong way to do it.

Not only this, the plot isn't even good.

However you have to remember we are about halfway through the season. I have a feeling Shandy will stay in the season, and maybe her character will become more likeable.

The PR firm plot will probably combine with the main plot, and hopefully it becomes better, so this is really a PR firm plot analysis for the first 5 episodes.
