Hi guys, looking through Verknipt ADE lineup. Only 10% women on the main stage and all the artists are white-passing. Is the hard techno scene really this undiverse? Feels a bit off/strange only going to see white males perform. No discredit to the artists. I’m wondering if this is a reality of the scene, do you think hard techno attracts mainly white males? I haven’t been to Verknipt before but a lineup like this does make me question their values & whether it is a welcoming community for women, LGBT & POC. Curious to know your thoughts.
