Curious lang ako, why is there a trend of iPhone 13 Pro/Max buyers?

I'm somewhat looking to buy an iPhone because of app stability and how companies are biased to make their apps better on iPhones, and a lot are looking to buy an iPhone 13 Pro/Max, but the price is still high compared to latest midrange Android phones and it's already 3 generations behind.
So, why is there a trend of iPhone 13 Pro/Max buyers?
